Oh dear Lord Jesus. What more can we say, but repeat the words of the prophet, Speak, oh Lord, for Your servant is listening! Lord, we come before You right now, opening as wide as we know how – we open as wide as we can! We want to hear a word from Your heart, even more – we desire that You would speak Your very heart into our heart! For this Lord, we turn our mind to focus solely on You. We quiet our emotions. Lord, we open every avenue and way in our heart. Lord come in and level all the high places, straighten all the crooked places! Lord, make our heart a proper heart to receive Your speaking, and even more – make our heart the proper heart to receive Your shining. Lord, we greatly desire that You would shine into our being…
O, Lord, it is so easy for our mind to argue with a doctrine or a theology…. It is so easy for our feelings to argue with reality, but Lord, just as You appeared to Saul of Tarsus as a bright shining, blinding light, we ask that You would appear to us right now! Come in and shine into our heart, and by Your shining remove all these things that hinder Your going on in us. By Your shining, Lord, make our heart a duplication of Your heart.
Thank you Lord- it is through this shining of light that You brought in the old creation, and it is through the illumination of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ that You have brought in the new creation! Oh, Lord! What a privilege it is to be those who can be in Your glorious shining presence! Wow. Thank You, Lord! Thank You that it is through the accumulation of this shining in us that the glad tidings will go out to all the earth. Amen, Lord, this light shining in us is the Christ of glory, and this Christ of glory shining out of us is the glad tidings! Amen, Lord, we desire to be such a people. A people that have entered into Your heart, those who have been infused with Your heart and who have become a duplication of Your heart! Make us a people that can go forth and bring real comfort into the hearts of darkened, dead, perishing human beings by allowing the God of glory to shine out from within them.
For this, for the fulfillment of Your economy across the entire earth, Lord we come to You right now and ask You to make us the faithful priests coming unto You at the incense altar to spend time in Your presence! Lord, make us faithful to come, faithful to open, so that You would have a way in us and through us! Amen, Lord, this is why we are here, this is what we are searching for, and this is why we have consecrated our lives to You. Lord Jesus, we thank You. Lord, above everything else, we say – dear precious Lord, we love You!
