Hallelujah! Praised be our God for His marvelous all-inclusive death and His glorious, life-releasing, life-dispensing resurrection! Oh Lord Jesus, how amazing is this thought: because You suffered this death for us, because You were judged as the unique sinner in this universe, today You are beholding the fruit of the travail of Your soul, a corporate seed! This seed today is the Father’s satisfaction, His pleasure and His delight. O, Lord! How marvelous this is! How wonderful!
Thank You, Lord Jesus, that with this end in view You set Your face like a flint! You lived such a life of suffering and sorrow, and You endured the cross. Oh Lord! Serve us, Lord, that this same heart would be reproduced in us. Simplify us inwardly to the uttermost that we would live and serve for Your satisfaction and the Father’s pleasure! And, Lord, open us to know the corporate life in this seed. We alone could not satisfy You nor bring the Father pleasure – but the many sons can! Lord, You desire a Body for Christ and You desire Your corporate Bride! O, Lord Jesus! May we be those who know and honor the Body, since it is through this corporate seed that You will have the extension of Your days. Oh Lord! Bring us further – into another dimension – don’t allow us to remain individual grains! May we be those who can truly pray “Lord, concerning me, concerning my health, concerning my family, concerning my marriage, concerning my job, do whatever is best for the Body of Christ. Do what is best, Lord.” Make us such a people, so that on that day we may hear the sweetest of words, “You contributed to My satisfaction, to the desire of My heart.” Oh Glorious day!
